Erin was raised in England and Oklahoma with her brother, two dogs and cat, before settling in Dallas when she was 10. She began volunteering at the SPCA when she was 7, and began helping feral cat rescue when she was 19.
She earned her Associates of Science from Brookhaven College and is 15 hours away from her degree in military history at the University of North Texas. She began her career as a veterinary technician in 2002, taking one year off to try office work before returning to her first love at the end of 2009.
She married her husband Brent in 2008 and together they welcomed their first child, Rowan, in February 2011. She loves cooking, sewing, reading, and vintage clothing. Her family lives in Garland, along with a Basenji mix, a Rat Terrier, two cats, and assorted fish.
